When is it used?
Used on dry, sloughy or necrotic wounds and minor burns — essentially the opposite of alginate, which is for wet wounds.
Who is it for?
For dry or painful wounds, sloughy pressure injuries and minor burns in home care and clinical settings.
Border vs non-border — what is the difference?
Non-adhesive — covered with a secondary dressing (film or foam) to hold the gel in place.
